AICTE New Delhi and Directorate of Technical Education Chennai approve the RVS Polytechnic. It is blossomed into a full-fledged center of technical Education starting on 17th August 2006 with 240 students and 16 Teaching staff and 10 Non-Teaching staff with the Principal. The Polytechnic College at present is offering 8 Diploma courses.

Our college is situated about fifteen kilometers from the city of Coimbatore on the road to Trichy.The public transport facilities are in abundance. The college owns a bus for the use of the students and the staff.
